My goal is to share my love, knowledge, and hard-earned experiences with both canning and gardening.
I’ll start with the basics – getting started (i.e. a garden!) then move onto the more important questions (do I really need a can tighter, what is pressure canning, etc). I’ll be sharing some wonderful recipes that I have made (all previously tested and approved for safe canning) and those that I am hoping to make in the future. My goal is to keep a running blog of what I have/have not done, lessons learned, and hopefully receive some wonderful suggestions from readers along the way.
IMPORTANT NOTICE: Please be aware that recipes shared by readers of this page are not endorsed, checked or tested by Caitlin’s Canning Kitchen. Always follow USDA home canning recommendations. If you ever have questions if something is safe – please send us a message and we will do our best to assist in finding tested/approved documentation.
